Driftwood is wood that has been washed and sanded by the sea and is often in many designs on the beach. Often it has beautiful scratches and scars after being thrown around the sea. It can be difficult to determine the origin of the individual piece of wood as erosion and waves have removed recognizable traces. There are many creative uses with driftwood which, when dried, often have a beautiful gray color and a unique surface.
