Common frog resemble moor frog, but can be slightly larger by up to 9 cm. The frog is usually brown, but can vary in color over to green. The snout is pretty small, hence the name. At the beach, you can find it, where there are ponds and beach lakes nearby. When it rains it sometimes swells with the frogs. Common frog are quite common in Denmark, but are threatened in some places and are found, for example not on Læsø, Møn and Bornholm. The frog is protected.
