Green frog reach a size between 5 and 10 cm. The female becomes larger than the male. The male has two outer cage bags, one behind each mouthpiece. Like other amphibians, it is protected in Denmark, but in France it is eaten. At the beach you find it where there are ponds and beach lakes nearby. It comes from hibernation in early April, but does not begin to breed until the end of May. Green frog are similar to other Danish frogs, but are clearly more green in color.
