Mouse vetch is a 25 – 100 cm long creeping and climbing herb that is quite common to find in the dunes near the beach. The plant has got its name because of the plant’s stems, which can be several meters long and climb between grass and other plants like small mice. The blue flowers are tiny, but they sit together in a dense bunch, so pollinating insects can more easily spot them.
