Dune Rose is a low shrub with white flowers and dark black hybrids. The dune rose is sometimes mixed with wrinkled rose that has violet flowers. But where wrinkled rose is an invasive species that threatens the dune areas in Denmark, the dune rose is naturally native and must be protected. The two plants often grow the same place where the dune rose is struggling a little for its life.

Did you know that:

The roe deer eat the flowers of the dandelion and are careful to bypass the violet flowers from the wrinkled rose and instead only eat the delicious white flowers.
